Svarloop is not signed with a Microsoft certificate yet, so Windows treats it as an app it has never seen before. You will get the blue window below. It is expected, it happens once, and these are the two clicks that get past it.
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.
- Open the file you downloaded. It lands in your Downloads folder. Double click it as you would any installer.
- If you only see "Don't run", click More info. Windows hides the real button at first. The small More info link sits just under the message. Click it and the window turns into the one pictured here.
- Click Run anyway. The Svarloop installer opens and carries on completely normally from there.
- That is the last you see of it. The warning is about the installer file, not the app. Opening Svarloop afterwards never shows it again.
Why Windows does not know us yet
We are not funded. There is no investor behind Svarloop, no marketing budget and no team of thirty. It is built and supported by a very small group in India, paid for by the people who use it.
Windows stops warning about an app once its publisher holds a Microsoft code signing certificate. That certificate is a recurring yearly cost, and buying one does not even switch the warning off straight away, because SmartScreen keeps flagging a fresh signature until enough people have installed the file for Microsoft to build up a reputation for it. So the honest position today is this: we would rather put the money into the product and tell you plainly what you are about to see than charge you more to make a blue window go away. The certificate is on the list. It gets bought out of what Svarloop earns.
Finding businesses, building lists, the CRM board and pitch rehearsal are free to use with no key at all, so you can install Svarloop and judge the whole thing before you decide anything. A licence only unlocks calling and WhatsApp. What we want back is what breaks and what is missing, and you get the person who builds it on the other end of the email.
