Privacy Policy

The short version: your leads, your calls, your CRM stay on your PC. This page explains exactly what does and does not leave your machine, and why.

Last updated 30 August 2026

The one sentence that matters Svarloop has no servers that hold your business data. The application runs entirely on your Windows PC, storing every lead, call transcript, and CRM note in a single local database file that only you control.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to Svarloop, a desktop application published by S8N (Stellar Eight Networks), and to the small set of supporting services Svarloop talks to: the license activation service, the optional telemetry service, and the optional diagnostic bundle upload. It does not cover S8N's other products (including Siddham AI, which is a separate hosted service with its own privacy policy).

What stays on your PC, always

The following data is generated and stored entirely on your machine, in a local database file. None of it is transmitted to S8N, to Sarvam, or to anyone else, under any circumstance:

Data Where it lives
Business leads you generateLocal database file on your PC
Lead lists and filters you buildLocal database file on your PC
Call transcripts and recordings metadataLocal database file on your PC
CRM notes, follow ups, and deal stagesLocal database file on your PC
AI call insights (if the AI insights feature is used)Local database file on your PC
Your Sarvam and AI provider API keysWindows Credential Manager on your PC

You can verify this yourself. Svarloop's data folder is at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Svarloop. Open it, look inside — everything is there in a plain DuckDB database file you can inspect, export, or delete.

What does leave your PC, and why

A small number of things necessarily travel over the internet for the app to function. Each one is listed below with exactly what it contains.

Phone calls, via Sarvam

When you launch a voice campaign, the phone numbers and the specific per lead details you choose to include (business name, area, category) are sent to Sarvam AI's calling platform so it can place the call and hold the conversation. Sarvam is a separate company with its own privacy policy, and you connect your own Sarvam account directly — Svarloop is a client of Sarvam's API, not an intermediary that stores a copy of what is sent.

License activation

Once when you first install Svarloop, and roughly monthly afterward, the app contacts our license server to confirm your license is valid. This exchange includes your license key and a hardware fingerprint (a one way hash derived from your machine, not personal information about you). No lead, call, or CRM data is included in this exchange.

Anonymous telemetry, opt in only

During setup, Svarloop asks whether you want to share anonymous usage data to help us find and fix bugs. This is off by default until you actively turn it on, and you can turn it off again at any time from Settings. When enabled, it sends:

It never includes lead data, phone numbers, business names, call transcripts, CRM notes, or your API keys, even in a crash report.

Diagnostic bundles, only when you ask

If you use the "Send diagnostic bundle" button in Settings to get support, the app collects your last 500 log lines, the app version, your database schema (the structure, not the data inside it), and redacted configuration, and uploads it to our support intake system. This only happens when you click the button. You will see exactly what is being sent before it uploads.

Payment, via Razorpay

When you buy a Svarloop license, payment is processed by Razorpay on their own checkout page. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details — Razorpay handles that entirely, and passes us only a payment confirmation and the email you provided.

Your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

As an Indian company handling personal data of Indian users, we honor the rights the DPDP Act gives you as a Data Principal:

To exercise any of these rights, write to our Grievance Officer using the contact details below. We respond within 30 days.

Data retention

License and payment records are kept for as long as your license is active, plus the period required by Indian tax and accounting law after that (typically 8 years). Telemetry data, if you opted in, is retained for 14 days in identifiable form before being aggregated. Diagnostic bundles are retained for 90 days after your support ticket is resolved, then deleted.

Children's privacy

Svarloop is a business tool intended for use by adults running or working at a company. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, we will notify active license holders by email and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Svarloop after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
